Award winning!

I am absolutely delighted to announce the Manor Made Cornwall bakes and cakes are now multi award winning.

When we started out, hand baking all the bakes and cakes is a value that underpinned the business. As Manor Made Made has grown and evolved this value has never changed.

At times , if I am honest I have questioned this value. When I spent hours in the hot kitchen, or we have sold out and after a long day selling I return to bake. But it is important to us and something we value. So when I got the emails to confirm some of the beloved bakes and cakes have been awarded gold and silver in the Taste of the West Awards we were beyond delighted as this really is a labour of love.

To have the scones, caramel slice, sweet potato roll and sausage roll awarded golds and silvers is such a huge honour, and gives us the confidence to stick with our guns and small batch bake our products.

Gold

Our scones, caramel slice and sweet potato vegan roll all scooped gold in the prestigious awards. The sweet potato roll scored so highly it has made it through to the next round of judging.

Silver

The brownie and sausage roll received a silver which we are so pleased about.

The scones and caramel slice all feature on the new Afternoon Tea menu so why not book in for a relaxing afternoon treat or head down to Carlyon Bay to the Bake Hut open daily.
